Mamen García Barahona. Dublin (Ireland)

MY EXPERIENCE IN DUBLIN

I was in Dublin for two weeks and I took the opportunity not
only to attend the academy CES in the heart of the city but
also to visit Ireland.

The course I chose to improve my English language was not proper one for me because it was on methodology for teaching English to primary children mainly, so my classmates were mostly English teachers who mastered the language and were looking for a meeting to share ideas.
On a personal level, it was a very rewarding experience because I had a chance to meet great people with different customs and similar problems in relation to the teaching profession.
I had time to explore the island, its culture and history making day trips to the most famous landmarks such as the Cliffs of Moher, the Giants Causeway, Belfast, and an extensive tour of the city of Dublin and its coast (Malahide, Howth ... ) without forgetting the legendary district of Temple Bar unique in the world with live music in pubs every day of the week, Trinity College, the castle and the great parks like Saint Stephen’s Green.
